Some big news for a top NFL prospect today. Damaryus Thomas, former Georgia Tech wide receiver was planning to participate in the NFL combine next week. Now, his plans have changed.
Thomas' agent, Todd France, has confirmed he broke his foot while training in Arizona Wednesday. Recovery for such an injury is about 4-6 weeks.
France told SI.com, "There are no longterm effects from the injury and Demaryius will be 100% by the time OTA's begin. If surgery hastens the healing process, that is something we will consider."
Before the injury, Thomas projects as a first-round pick in April.
